New DIY Christmas calendar

New update! I just made a new DIY calendar and it is way better! It looks nicer too! If you want to know about why I decided to make homemade Christmas calendars, you can read the first paragraph of my old post on DIY CHristmas calendars! Let's start!

Things you will need:
-Glue
-Tape
-Paper cutting mat
-Paper cutting knife
-Scissors
-Markers
-Pencil crayons
-Pencil
-Wrapping paper
-Printer
-2 papers

1. Print out template. You don't need a colour printer.

2. Cut out 3 sides of each square to make flaps. The flaps should open like windows. This step should be down with a paper cutting knife and mat. (I used a mouse pad instead of a paper cutting mat because I couldn't find one, and I got in trouble!)

3. Cut out the star and decorate it anyway you like.

4. Cut out a tree sheep with two sheets of paper.

5. Use it as a tracer and cut out the tree shape on wrapping paper.

6. Glue the squares on the tree without glueing down the flaps. Then, glue the star on top.

7. Tape treats on the inside of each flap. Then, tape the best treat on the back of the star.

8. Hang the calendar on the wall of your house and take one treat everyday until christmas day.

DIY christmas ornament

I have thought of this pretty quick and easy christmas ornament. That again, I rushed through. It is very cheap though!

Things that you need:
An egg
Paint or markers
Clear tape
String, yarn, or lace

1. Blow an egg out of it's shell. If you don't know how to do this check out my post on "how to blow the egg out of an egg" :D
Here is the link:

2. Decorate the egg a christmasy way so it doesn't look like an easter egg. Try not to smudge the marker if you are using markers.

3. Let it dry! Even if it is markers!

4. Attach the yarn, string, or lace to the egg with a piece of tape. I used duct tape because I couldn't find my clear tape but I recommend using clear tape if you have it.

5. Hang it on your christmas tree and if you have enough time, you can make a collection of them.

How to blow the egg out of an egg

This is a rather short post that I made. I made it because I have some DIY posts that you need to use empty egg shells that aren't in pieces.

Anyways, this is what you need:
An egg
A straw

1. Make a hole that is just a little bit bigger than the width of your straw.

2. Stick the straw in the hole.

3. Blow as hard as you can. Just don't blow so hard that it explodes.

4. Ta da! You are done.

End of super short post.
